Lemaire had some hesitation about returning, but was reassured by a meeting with general manager Doug Risebrough that the Minnesota Wild team was going in a direction that needed Lemaire's unwavering guidance. Coach Lemaire has been with the Wild since the franchise began and he hopes to bring the Stanley Cup to Minnesota next year.
